Gryllomorpha dalmatina is the largest species within the genus Gryllomorpha. Adult individuals of this species reach a body length of 15 to 20 millimeters, or 0.59 to 0.79 inches. All adults are wingless. Their body has a base pale brown coloration, with dark brown markings scattered across the body and legs. Both the antennae and the legs are quite long. The thin, long ovipositor of females measures around 12 to 17 millimeters, which equals 0.47 to 0.67 inches. This cricket species is primarily distributed across France, Italy, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, the Near East, and North Africa.
