Grona heterocarpos (L.) H.Ohashi & K.Ohashi, commonly called Asian ticktrefoil, is a shrub species of flowering plant in the Fabaceae family, belonging to the genus Grona. It is native to tropical and subtropical areas spanning Asia, the West Pacific, and Tanzania. This species grows aggressively in a creeping habit, and reaches heights between 0.5 and 1.5 meters. It produces pea-like flowers that range in color from pink to purplish-red, and is used in traditional medicine.
