About Greyia radlkoferi Szyszyl.
Greyia radlkoferi, commonly known as the woolly bottlebrush or Natal bottlebrush, is a shrub or small tree native to South Africa. This species reaches a maximum height of 5 metres. It has smooth, yellowish bark that turns grey and becomes deeply furrowed as the tree matures. Its leaves are oval or heart-shaped, with a woolly texture on the undersurface; this feature distinguishes Greyia radlkoferi from the related species Greyia sutherlandii. In the species' native range, its scarlet flowers grow in dense, upright clusters, blooming from July to October. Greyia radlkoferi is named in honor of Ludwig Adolph Timotheus Radlkofer.
