Grammodes bifasciata is a moth species in the Erebidae family. It was first formally described by Vincenzo Petagna in 1787. This species can be found in Madagascar, eastern Africa, North Africa, and other areas within the Mediterranean Basin, including southern France and Israel. Across its range in Africa, Grammodes bifasciata produces multiple generations per year. Adult moths are active between the months of May and August. The larvae of this moth feed on species from the genera Rubus, Cistus (with a particular association to Cistus salviifolius), Smilax, and Polygonum.
