About Goodenia trinervis (Labill.) K.A.Sheph.
Goodenia trinervis is a perennial herb. It has linear to spoon-shaped leaves growing at the base of the plant, which measure 50โ200 mm (2.0โ7.9 in) long and 5โ25 mm (0.20โ0.98 in) wide, and sometimes have toothed edges. Its flowers are arranged on an ascending peduncle that can reach up to 400 mm (16 in) tall, with oblong to linear bracteoles up to 19 mm (0.75 in) long. The sepals of this species are D-shaped to egg-shaped, 2.0โ2.5 mm (0.079โ0.098 in) long. The petals are yellowish-orange, 8โ12 mm (0.31โ0.47 in) long, and have a reddish-brown color in the throat. The fruit is an oval capsule 7 mm (0.28 in) long and 4 mm (0.16 in) wide, containing spherical seeds approximately 2 mm (0.079 in) in diameter. This goodenia most often grows in damp locations. It is found from north of Perth to near Esperance, across the Avon Wheatbelt, Coolgardie, Esperance Plains, Geraldton Sandplains, Jarrah Forest, Mallee, Swan Coastal Plain and Warren bioregions of south-western Western Australia.
