Gonolobus suberosus (L.) Schult. is a plant species belonging to the Apocynaceae family. It is native to eastern North America, and is primarily found in the southeastern United States. Its natural habitat consists of mesic to wet forests and thickets. Two varieties of this species have been formally described. Gonolobus suberosus var. granulatus occurs west of the Appalachian Mountains. Gonolobus suberosus var. suberosus grows primarily in the Appalachian Mountains and areas east of the range.
