Goniolimon tataricum (L.) Boiss. is a species of flowering plant that belongs to the genus Goniolimon in the family Plumbaginaceae. This species has several common names: German statice, Tatarian sea-lavender, Tartarian statice, and simply statice. It is native to Albania, Algeria, Bulgaria, Greece, Kazakhstan, the North Caucasus, Romania, Southern Russia, Tunisia, Ukraine, and the former Yugoslavia. It is grown in gardens as a border plant and groundcover, and is also utilized in the cut-flower industry.
