Glyceria notata, commonly called plicate sweet-grass or marked glyceria, is a semi-aquatic true grass species belonging to the tribe Meliceae. It is classified in the cosmopolitan genus Glyceria, which is known as mannagrasses, a group of tufted perennial grasses. The culms of this species grow 30 to 80 centimeters tall, ascending from a prostrate base. It produces dark- to bluish-green leaf blades that are either flat or folded, measuring 5 to 30 centimeters long and 3 to 14 millimeters wide. Glyceria notata is recognized as an invasive species in some regions of the world.
