About Geranium cuneatum Hook.
Geranium cuneatum Hook. is a many-branched shrub that reaches 30 to 100 centimeters in height. Its leaves are either green or gray, and are covered in small hairs that reflect sunlight. The plant produces white flowers, which sometimes have purple veins. This species is endemic to high elevations on the slopes of the volcanoes Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, Hualālai, and Haleakalā. It is commonly found growing above the tree line, and can grow up to at least 3200 meters in elevation on Mauna Kea and Haleakalā.
