About Genista linifolia L.

Genista linifolia L. is a shrub with hairy green stems and branches that can grow over two meters tall. Its leaves consist of tough, green, lance-shaped leaflets with woolly undersides. Flowers grow in dense raceme inflorescences near the ends of the branches. The flowers are bright yellow and pealike. The fruit is a hairy legume pod, one to four centimeters long, that holds several seeds.
