Geniostoma ligustrifolium A.Cunn., commonly called hangehange, is a plant species belonging to the Loganiaceae family. This species is also treated as a synonym: Geniostoma rupestre var. ligustrifolium. It is endemic to New Zealand. Its natural distribution in New Zealand covers the North Island, and Marlborough at the northern tip of the South Island. Additional common names for this species are pฤpฤ and privet leaf. It is a shrub that commonly grows on forest margins, and can reach up to 4 metres (13 ft) in height. It is a popular cultivated garden specimen plant.
