Galium lucidum All. is a plant species belonging to the Rubiaceae family. It is native to the Mediterranean region, with a natural range spanning from Portugal and Morocco to Greece, and extending northward into Germany. This species is an erect, hairless perennial that grows up to 70 centimeters in height. Its leaves are narrow and linear, reaching up to 3 centimeters long, arranged in whorls with up to 10 leaves growing from each node. Its inflorescence forms a large terminal panicle that holds many small, white to cream-colored flowers.
