About Galium formosense Ohwi

Galium formosense Ohwi is a species of flowering plant. It belongs to the bedstraw genus Galium, in the family Rubiaceae, and is native to Taiwan. This plant is a perennial herb that can grow either procumbent or erect, and reaches up to 30 cm (12 in) in height. It grows in mountain regions, in open fields, and alongside trails, roads, and ditches, at elevations ranging from 600 to 3,000 m (2,000 to 9,800 ft). It may be the same species as Galium elegans.
