About Galium anisophyllon Vill.

Galium anisophyllon Vill. is a herbaceous plant that can grow to between 5 and 25 centimetres (2.0–9.8 inches) in height. It has a quadrangular, branched stem, and oblong or lanceolate-linear leaves that measure up to 15 millimetres in length and 2 millimetres in width. Its flowers are white to yellowish-white, arranged in loose umbels. The corolla of the flowers can reach up to 4 millimetres wide. This species blooms from June through September. Galium anisophyllon is widespread across Central and Southern Europe, ranging from France eastward to Poland and Ukraine. It grows in mountain habitats including meadows, rocky crevices, and forests, and is found at altitudes above 1000 metres.
