About Galatella linosyris (L.) Rchb.fil.

Galatella linosyris, commonly called goldilocks aster, is also frequently known by the synonyms Aster linosyris and Crinitaria linosyris. It is a perennial plant species belonging to the family Asteraceae. This species is native to Eastern, Central, and Southern Europe; it can also be found in Great Britain, southern Scandinavia, and Asia Minor. Its flowers are yellow. Stems of this species grow 10 to 50 centimetres (3.9 to 19.7 inches) tall, and it bears lanceolate leaves. The plant does not produce ray flowers, and only has disk florets. It blooms between July and September. Its fruits are achenes. This species is protected in the Czech Republic.
