About Fritillaria pinetorum Davidson
Scientific name: Fritillaria pinetorum Davidson. This species produces an erect stem that grows between 10 and 40 cm (3.9 to 15.7 inches) tall. It bears 4 to 20 narrow leaves, which can be straight or curling. Its single erect flower has six tepals, each 1 to 2 cm long, and these tepals are purple with yellow mottling. Fritillaria pinetorum is visually similar in appearance to Fritillaria atropurpurea.
