About Fritillaria falcata (Jeps.) D.E.Beetle

Fritillaria falcata produces a short stem between 10 and 20 centimeters tall. The stem is surrounded by two to six flat, sickle-shaped leaves that grow up to roughly 8 centimeters in length. This species bears an erect, star-shaped flower with six tepals, each 1 to 2 centimeters long. The outer surface of the tepals is greenish, while the inner surface is yellow mottled with purple-brown.
