About Frasera neglecta H.M.Hall

Frasera neglecta, the scientific name of which is Frasera neglecta H.M.Hall, is a perennial herb. It grows one or more erect stems from a rosetted base, and can reach roughly half a meter in maximum height. Its leaves are linear or lance-shaped, green with white margins; the largest basal leaves can grow up to 20 centimeters long. The inflorescence is a dense panicle at the top of the stem, and it is sometimes interrupted to form a series of separate flower clusters. Each bloom has a calyx made of four pointed sepals, and a corolla made of four pointed lobes that each measure up to 1.5 centimeters long. The corolla is greenish white with purple streaks. Each flower also has four stamens tipped with large anthers, and a central ovary.
