About Fragaria nubicola Lindl.
Fragaria nubicola Lindl. is a wild strawberry species that is native to the Himalayas. It has no commercial value. Leaf extracts of Fragaria nubicola have produced promising but limited results for reducing joint inflammation, suggesting it could potentially be developed as a treatment for arthritis. All studies so far have only been conducted on animals, and the species has not yet undergone human testing. Despite this, historical anecdotal accounts and the results from completed animal studies are promising.
