Flueggea suffruticosa (Pall.) Baill. is a flowering plant species that belongs to the family Phyllanthaceae. It is a deciduous shrub native to East Asia. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is known as yī yè qiū (Chinese: 一叶秋) and counted among the 50 fundamental herbs used in this system of medicine. In traditional Chinese folk medicine, the twigs and leaves of F. suffruticosa are used to treat lumbago, limb numbness, and indigestion. To date, there is no scientific evidence supporting that this plant produces any clinical effect.
