About Fissicrambus mutabilis CS

Fissicrambus mutabilis, commonly called the changeable grass-veneer or striped sod webworm, is a moth species that belongs to the family Crambidae. This species is distributed across a range extending from Quebec to Florida, westward to Texas and Illinois, and northward to Ontario. Its wingspan measures approximately 17 mm. Adult moths are active from June to August, and this species produces two generations each year. The larvae of Fissicrambus mutabilis feed on a variety of different grasses. Partially developed larvae enter and pass through the winter to complete development the following season.
