About Ficus maclellandii King
Ficus maclellandii King, commonly known as Alii fig or banana-leaf fig, is a fig species that belongs to the plant family Moraceae. This species is native to India, Southeast Asia, and China. It is an evergreen plant, and is often cultivated as a houseplant in temperate climates. Its leaves measure 8–13 cm long, and have a unique dimorphic structure: lower, sterile branches produce narrow leaves, while higher branches produce broader leaves.
