Fibigia clypeata (L.) Medik. is an Asian species of flowering plant in the genus Fibigia, which belongs to the family Brassicaceae. It is distributed across Greece, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and Turkey, and its flowering season in these regions occurs from February through April. This plant is abundant and native to the Shouf Biosphere Reserve in Lebanon. Its common Arabic name is بتلة كالمرساة, its common English name is False-gypsophila ankyropetalum, and its common French name is Ankyropetale fausse-gypsophylle. It is a drought-tolerant perennial that is well-suited for xeriscaping.
