About Festuca incurva (Gouan) Gutermann
Festuca incurva (Gouan) Gutermann is a species of flowering plant in the grass family Poaceae. It was formerly classified as the only species in the monotypic genus Psilurus, under the name Psilurus incurvus. This species is native to a broad region stretching from the Mediterranean through Central Asia to Pakistan.
Its native distribution covers southwestern Europe, which includes the Balearic Islands, Corsica, France, Portugal, Sardinia, and Spain; southeastern Europe, which includes Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Crete, Romania, Sicily, European Turkey, and the former Yugoslavia; North Africa, which includes Algeria, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia; Western Asia, which includes Afghanistan, Cyprus, the East Aegean Islands, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon-Syria, Palestine, and Turkey; the Caucasus; Crimea; Pakistan; and Central Asia, which includes Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. It has been introduced into Germany and parts of Australia.
