About Faurea rochetiana (A.Rich.) Chiov. ex Pic.Serm.

Faurea rochetiana, commonly called the broad-leaved beechwood, is a small leafy tree distributed across much of Africa, ranging from Sudan southward to Limpopo, Mpumalanga, and northern KwaZulu-Natal. Compared to the bushveld beechwood, this species has wider leaves, larger flowers, visible flower veins, and denser hairy twigs. Its official South African national tree number is 76.
