Fagraea berteroana A.Gray ex Benth. has quad-angular branches and blunt-tipped leaves. Its fragrant, tubular flowers grow to 7 cm long; they are creamy white when new, and turn yellow as they age. This species was introduced to Hawaii, where its flowers are commonly used to make lei. In Hawaiian, the tree's name translates to "ten cent flower", a reference to the historical price of a single flower when sold.
