Exocentrus punctipennis is a species of longhorn beetle belonging to the subfamily Lamiinae. It was described by Mulsant and Guillebeau in 1856, and can be found in southern Europe and the Caucasus. These beetles live on elm trees. They grow to between 3.5 and 6 millimetres (0.14–0.24 in) in length, and have a lifespan of approximately 1 to 2 years.
