About Everes lacturnus Godart

Scientific name: Everes lacturnus Godart

In 1915, Harry Tytler described the subspecies Everes lacturnus assamica as follows. Males: On the upperside of the wings, the black border on both wings is much broader than that of Chilades parrhasius. Females: On the upperside, the discal greyish-blue patch on the forewing is much reduced, darker, and barely visible; the hindwing is rather darker. The underside is similar to that of Chilades parrhasius.
