Evarcha jucunda (Lucas, 1846), commonly called the Mediterranean white-banded spider, is a species of jumping spider. This species is naturally distributed across the Mediterranean region, and has been introduced to Belgium. It can also sometimes be found in greenhouses in Germany. The species typically has a large white or yellowish band surrounding its head region, and a smaller similar band at the anterior end of its abdomen. Males of the species are mostly black, with a white line surrounding their head; the top of their abdomen is brown.
