About Euxoa bochus Morrison, 1874

Euxoa bochus is a species of moth that belongs to the family Noctuidae. This species was first described by Herbert Knowles Morrison in 1874. It is distributed in western North America, where its range extends from Vancouver Island, south to southern Utah and northern New Mexico, and east to central Colorado, Wyoming, and the Cypress Hills region of south-western Saskatchewan. It can also be found in the Canadian provinces of Manitoba and British Columbia. The wingspan of adult Euxoa bochus moths measures 34 to 36 mm. Adult moths are active in flight from mid-July to mid-October, and this species produces one generation per year.
