About Eutrema edwardsii R.Br.

Eutrema edwardsii, commonly known as Edwards' mock wallflower, is a species of flowering plant. It belongs to the wasabi genus Eutrema, part of the mustard family Brassicaceae.

This species has a nearly panarctic distribution. It is only absent from northern Europe, and its range extends south to Tibet. It is a rhizomatous geophyte that grows to a height of 18 inches (46 cm). It can be found in a variety of arctic and subarctic habitats, including tundra, screefields, formerly glaciated hills, grassy streamsides, and peat ridges.

Eutrema edwardsii forms an allopolyploid complex, with populations that are tetraploid, hexaploid, and octaploid.
