About Euthalia patala Kollar, 1844
The wings of Euthalia patala Kollar, 1844 are olive-green, with black colouring along the costal nervure. The forewings have a spotted white band that crosses the middle, running from the middle of the anterior margin toward the posterior angle, and also bear two white spots near the summit. The hindwings have three spots at the centre of the anterior margin. The under surface of the wings matches the patterning of the upper surface, but is coloured cinereous. The total wing expanse of this species measures four inches.
