Eurybia glauca (Nutt.) G.L.Nesom, commonly known as the gray aster, is a North American flowering plant species in the Asteraceae family. It is native to the western United States. Its main native range includes Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming, with small additional populations located in Idaho and Montana. It grows primarily west of the Rocky Mountains across Colorado, northern New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah, and occurs through most of Wyoming. This species is a perennial herb or subshrub that grows from a woody rhizome, and reaches up to 70 centimeters (28 inches) in height.
