About Eupoecilia angustana (Hübner, 1796-1799)

Eupoecilia angustana (Hübner, 1796-1799) is a moth species belonging to the family Tortricidae. Its distribution spans most of Europe extending to the southern Urals, and continues across the Palearctic region to China, Japan, and Korea. Within China, it has been recorded in the regions of Anhui, Beijing, Gansu, Heilongjiang, Henan, Jilin, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Shandong, and Shanxi. This moth has a wingspan of 10 to 15 millimeters. Adult moths fly from June through September each year. The larvae of Eupoecilia angustana feed on plants from the genera Plantago, Achillea, Calluna, Origanum, Thymus, and Solidago.
