Eupithecia melanolopha Swinhoe, 1895 (also referred to as Mesoptila melanolopha) is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. It was first formally described by Charles Swinhoe in 1895. This species is distributed across Nepal, China (the regions of Shaanxi, Jiangsu, and Hunan), Korea, Japan, Taiwan, India (the regions of Sikkim and Meghalaya), Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and the islands of Java, Bali, and Borneo. The wingspan of adult moths of this species ranges from 16 to 21 mm. Recorded host plants for the larvae of this moth are species in the genus Stephania.
