About Euphorbia tannensis Biehler

Euphorbia tannensis Biehler grows as an erect annual or perennial herb or shrub, reaching between 10 centimetres and 1 metre in height, and produces green or yellow flowers. It often has a spindly appearance because its leaves are deciduous. This species is widespread across the Australian mainland, found in every mainland Australian state, though it only occurs in the far north-west corner of Victoria, Australia. This species is widely reported to occur only in Australia, however, its type specimen was collected on Tanna, which is located in what is now Vanuatu, and it has also been recorded growing in New Caledonia.
