About Euphorbia serrata L.

Euphorbia serrata, formally named Euphorbia serrata L., is a spurge species with multiple common names: serrated spurge, sawtooth spurge, Tintern spurge, and upright spurge. This species is native to Europe, but has become an introduced weedy plant in other regions. It is a perennial herb that reaches heights between 20 centimeters and approximately 50 centimeters. Most leaves on the plant are long and very narrow, while leaves closer to the tips of the stems are more oval in shape. All leaves have fine, small teeth. Tiny flowers grow in inflorescences located at the ends of the plant's branches. The fruit produced is a spherical capsule around half a centimeter wide, which holds tiny gray seeds.
