Euphorbia oblongata Griseb. is a species of flowering plant in the spurge family, Euphorbiaceae. Its common names are Balkan spurge, eggleaf spurge, and oblong spurge. It is native to Eurasia, but is also found as a weedy introduced species in other regions. It is a hairy perennial herb that reaches a maximum height of just over half a meter. Its leaves are oval or narrow in shape, have finely toothed edges, and measure 4 to 6 centimeters long. Foliage color ranges from green to yellow-green. Its inflorescences bear small glandular flowers. It produces a spherical fruit capsule around half a centimeter long that holds smooth brown seeds.
