About Euphorbia mauritanica L.

Euphorbia mauritanica L., commonly called the yellow milk bush or golden spurge, is a plant species in the Euphorbiaceae family that is native to Africa. This species is distributed across most of Southern Africa. It grows extensively across the Northern Cape, Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Free State, and KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, and is also found in Namibia. It is a dominant species in the Succulent Karoo, where it grows in valleys and on hillsides. It has also been introduced to India.
