Euphorbia discoidalis Chapm., commonly known as summer spurge, is a flowering dicot plant in the spurge family Euphorbiaceae and the genus Euphorbia. This species reaches approximately 18 inches (460 mm) in height, and produces white flowers in late summer and early fall. It grows across parts of the southern United States, with a distribution ranging from eastern and central Georgia south and west to the Florida panhandle and eastern Texas. It grows primarily on sandhills, including pine-dominated sandhills, and is found in frequently burned areas such as longleaf pine-wiregrass savannas.
