Eupanacra busiris, first described by Walker in 1856, has a wingspan ranging from 68 to 82 mm. This species has been recorded from Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak (Malaysia), Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi (Indonesia), Nepal, north-eastern India, the Andaman Islands, Myanmar, Thailand, southern China, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Its presence in Sri Lanka is considered probable.
