About Eumenes consobrinus de Saussure, 1856

Eumenes is a genus of wasps belonging to the subfamily Eumeninae. This is a large, widespread genus that has over 100 species and subspecies found across the world. Pierre André Latreille first proposed the genus in 1802, and Latreille went on to designate its type species in 1810. All species in this genus construct jug-shaped mud nests, which are typically attached to twigs. Caterpillars are provided as food for the genus's larvae.
