Eumarozia malachitana, commonly called the sculptured moth, is a moth species that belongs to the Tortricidae family. It is found in eastern North America, where it has been specifically recorded in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Ontario, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. This moth has a wingspan ranging from 11.5 to 16 mm. Adult Eumarozia malachitana are active in July, and again from September to October. The larvae of this species feed on Ostrya virginiana, Diospyros virginiana, Pyrus communis, and species from the genera Cassia, Gomphrena, and Manilkara.
