About Eulithis gracilineata (Guenée)
Eulithis gracilineata, commonly known as the greater grapevine looper, is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. This species was first formally described by Achille Guenée in 1858. Its distribution ranges from eastern Canada southward to Florida. It has also been recorded as far west as Saskatchewan and central Alberta, where the species is considered rare. The wingspan of adult Eulithis gracilineata measures between 35 and 40 mm. The larvae of this moth feed on plant species from the genera Vitis and Parthenocissus.
