Eugenia pyriformis Cambess. is a plant species in the family Myrtaceae, native to Brazil. It can grow to a height of 6 to 13 metres (20 to 43 ft), with a trunk diameter between 30 and 50 centimetres (0.98 to 1.64 ft). This species is primarily found in the Brazilian states of Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and São Paulo. Eugenia pyriformis can grow at elevations ranging from 300 to 1,500 metres (980 to 4,920 ft). It grows best in well drained, preferably slightly acid soil.
