About Eueretagrotis perattentus Grote, 1876

Eueretagrotis perattentus, commonly known as the two-spot dart, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. This species ranges across central and southern Canada from coast to coast, and also occurs in the northern United States, extending south along the Appalachian Mountains to western North Carolina and Tennessee. The wingspan of adult Eueretagrotis perattentus is approximately 32 millimeters. Active adults are recorded on the wing between June and July. Larvae of this species have been successfully reared on plants from the genus Vaccinium and the species Prunus pennsylvanica.
