About Eudonia cataxesta Meyrick

Eudonia cataxesta Meyrick has a wingspan of 23 to 27 mm. Its forewings are dark slaty-grey with an indigo-bluish tinge, covered with fine scattered grey-whitish scales. The hindwings are whitish-grey, with a darker grey band along the hind margin. Adult individuals of this species have been recorded flying in January and February.
