Eudesmia arida, commonly known as the arid eudesmia moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Erebidae. It was first described by Skinner in 1906. This species is distributed across the southwestern United States, ranging from Arizona to Texas, and is also found in Mexico. The wingspan of adult arid eudesmia moths measures between 23 and 30 mm. Adult individuals have been recorded in flight from June through to October each year. The larvae of this moth species feed on lichens.
