About Eucyclodes semialba (Walker, 1861)

This species is Eucyclodes semialba (Walker, 1861). For the adult wings, the inner area is greenish, while the outer area is whitish. On the ventral side, a conspicuous black submarginal spot is present in the central region. The caterpillar stage is olive green with brown speckles; its anterior and posterior segments are pale purplish brown, and a double brown line runs along its dorsal side. The pupa is greenish with tiny purplish-brown speckles. Caterpillars of this species use Loranthus as a host plant.
