About Eucosma conterminana (Guenée, 1845)

Eucosma conterminana, first described by Guenée in 1845, has a wingspan of 15–19 mm. Adult moths are active on wing from July to August. Its larvae feed on Lactuca serriola, Lactuca vireola, and other species in the Lactuca genus. This species is distributed across Europe, ranging from the Baltic region to the Caucasus. It also occurs in Trans-Caucasus, Kazakhstan, Asia Minor, central Asia through southern Siberia, as well as in China and Mongolia.
